Undress a photo in three taps — upload, style, download

250+ AI-generated results in the gallery

Undressia accepts JPEG, PNG and WebP files up to 15 MB. The AI strips the clothing layer, preserves the background, and delivers the result at the original resolution.

AI-generated results only. No real person is depicted.

02The detail

From upload to download: what happens to your photo

The file never touches permanent storage. Here is every step between your tap and the output.

When you undress a photo through Undressia, the file uploads to an ephemeral container allocated just for your session. EXIF metadata — GPS, device model, timestamps — is stripped in the first processing step, before the image even reaches the diffusion model. The stripped original and the generated output both exist only in volatile memory.

The model segments the clothing boundary, reconstructs the underlying anatomy, and composites the result back onto the untouched background. The entire pass takes between six and nine seconds depending on resolution and clothing complexity. Multi-layer outfits (jacket over shirt over undershirt) are the slowest because each boundary adds segmentation cost.

Once you download or close the tab, both the upload and the output are purged. There is no gallery, no thumbnail cache, no admin-accessible archive. If you want the result again later, you process the photo again from scratch.

What works well

  • Accepts JPEG, PNG and WebP up to 15 MB
  • Output matches the input resolution — no downscaling
  • EXIF stripped before the model processes the file
  • Both upload and output deleted after download
  • Background, face and accessories remain untouched
  • Side-by-side preview before download

Worth knowing first

  • Images below 512 px on the short side produce lower-quality results
  • Multi-layer outfits add two to three seconds to processing
  • All output is AI-generated — no real person depicted
  • 18+ service with mandatory age verification

Photo processing examples

Different source formats and resolutions, all processed through the same pipeline.

4032 × 3024 JPEG from a phone camera. Processing time: 7.8 seconds.

1080 × 1920 PNG screenshot. The model handled the lower dynamic range without artefacts.

WebP from a web download. Output matched the 1200 × 1600 input pixel for pixel.

04In practice

Tips for getting the cleanest output

Resolution matters more than file size. A 3 MB JPEG from a modern phone camera will outperform a 12 MB upscaled image because the model needs real texture data, not interpolated pixels. If you have multiple versions of the same photo, choose the one closest to the original capture.

Lighting consistency helps too. The model reconstructs skin tones from the surrounding pixels, so even illumination across the subject gives it a better reference palette. Mixed lighting (half sun, half shadow cutting across the torso) is the most common source of colour banding in the output.

05FAQ

Undress photo — practical questions

01

What happens to my photo after I download the result?

Both the original upload and the output are deleted from the server the moment you download or close the tab. There is no recycle bin, no backup copy, and no way for Undressia staff to retrieve either file afterwards.
02

Can I process the same photo in multiple styles?

Yes, and switching styles does not cost an extra generation credit. The expensive step is segmentation, which is cached for the session. Changing from Subtle to Bold re-runs only the inpainting pass.
03

Does it work on group photos?

Undressia processes one subject per image. If a photo contains multiple people, the model picks the most prominent figure. For predictable results, crop to a single subject before uploading.
04

What if the output has a visible artefact?

Try a different style first — Artistic mode handles garment-edge seams better than Bold in some cases. If the artefact persists, the source image may have insufficient resolution or complex overlapping layers that exceed the model’s current capability.
